Sleep Metronome · Beschrijving
Sleep Metronome is a sleeping aid that uses the sound of a metronome to help you fall asleep.
By starting the metronome at a rate close to your own heart rate, and then setting the beats to slowly decrease over time, it will help you to relax and fall asleep. Focusing on the sound of the metronome will reduce other distracting thoughts that can crowd the mind. As the metronome sound slows, your breathing will slow along with it, thereby helping you to relax.
The app is both free to download and free from ads.
Features:
* An adjustable starting rate BPM (Beats per Minute)
* An adjustable ending rate BPM (Beats per Minute)
* A timer that determines for how many minutes the metronome should run
* Start and Stop buttons
Instructions:
1. Set the starting rate BPM
2. Set the ending rate BPM to a lower figure. Normally between 20 and 40 BPM less than the starting BPM is useful for most people.
3. Set the number of minutes. 20 minutes is a good place to start until you find what works for you.
4. Press Start.
5. Lie back and relax.
