NoBueno · Description
Big improvements in our Job Seeker APP. Not just an aesthetic update, this new update brings a series of fixes to annoying bugs, but also introduces new features and functions.
Things worth highlighting:
1) New look and feel. We cleaned up our act a bit and made sure everything was simpler and smoother. Took out everything that was a distraction and made everything cleaner.
2) Languages languages languages. NoBueno will now support English, Arabic, Urdu, Spanish and French. More coming soon!
Are you new to NoBueno? Looking for new opportunities? Or simply gauging the market You’re in the right place.
We built NoBueno to bring an end to the overly cumbersome and outdated ways of finding jobs. We want you to never, ever search for jobs again. When you think about it, your ability to scour online platforms, attend endless events and build your network isn’t what you should be spending your time doing, is it?
No, instead, we should be measured objectively against things that matter. Our CVs don't represent us and a recruiter shouldn't be matching CVs against JDs. We should live in a world where people are matched against opportunities. Technology should change how we do things, not simply digitize, and recruiters as well as people should be focused on digging deeper and understanding if the role matches the person.
Second, let’s talk about our name, NoBueno. Although we love the Latin culture, we’re not of Spanish origin and we simply love what it implies and how it sounds. And yes, we know that it’s grammatically incorrect, but it just felt right.
Here’s the idea.
Finding a job hasn’t changed much and all the innovations out there still base their process on broken fundamentals. Job descriptions are tweaked rips from online templates, CVs and resumes over embellish everything to then suit the search and people still have huge and unwarranted biases. So, we sat in a room and wrote out the following list of objectives. Our solution must have;
1) No job descriptions for recruiters
2) No CVs or resumes for seekers
3) No racial bias or discrimination on either side
4) No gender bias on either side
5) No fees for both recruiters and seekers (for now at least)
And so, if you don’t have a job then that’s “NoBueno” and where the name came from. The honest realization that the system is no good, and that having no job is no good either. Hence, NoBueno.
Freelance, part-time or full-time, people and recruiters should never look for a job or talent ever again. Human Capital is EVERYTHING and having access to your worth should be your right. Leveling the playing field and giving everyone a chance to earn what they’re worth.
Things you should know:
1) You can create a profile on NoBueno, but can’t browse jobs without being matched to them.
2) We cater to full-time, part-time or freelance opportunities.
3) We match you to jobs based on multiple things. The basics including location, experience, compensation, and technical skills, but we also incorporate your values, personality and soft skills too.
4) You decide the weights of how important the technical skills, values & personality and soft skills are in matching to jobs.
5) You can adjust everything at any time. The more you keep it up to date, the more relevant the matches will be.
6) Once matched, you chat directly with matched jobs and it’s all in your hands now.
Go for it!
PS - Bear with us a bit. We need to learn, growth and get better. NoBueno improves exponentially with every new job and seeker that joins it. Thanks for the trust.
