Mau-Mau - 101, card duel GAME
The game can be played with artificial intelligence or with an online opponent in multiplayer mode.
The goal of the game is to discard your cards faster than your opponent. The player who discards his cards first will be considered the winner of the game. The game is played with a deck of 36 cards. In the settings of the computer game, it is also possible to select decks of 24, 32, 52 cards.
The players are dealt four cards each. The remaining cards are placed in the center of the table. In the first knight, the player who will move first is randomly determined. In the next knight, the winning player starts the move.
The strategy of the game is to beat the previous player's card. The moves are made by the players in turn. The participants place a card of the same suit or a similar value on top. For example, if an eight of spades is laid out, then the next player has the right to discard one of the cards of the suit of spades or an eight of any suit.
If a player does not have a card that meets the conditions, then he draws a card from the general stack/ deck. With this card, he can beat the previous player's card if it fits. Then the move goes to the opponent.
In addition to the standard course of the game, there are also additional conditions that must be completed after the turn of one of the special cards.:
6 — the opponent takes one card from the common deck instead of his turn.
7 — the opponent takes two cards from the common deck instead of his turn.
9 — the player who placed it must cover it with another card, either of the same suit or with another nine, which must be covered again. If a player does not have such cards, he takes them from the deck until he closes the nine.
The opponent's ace misses a turn.
The opponent's King of Spades must draw four cards from the deck and skip the turn.
The queen can be placed on any card, regardless of suit. The player who placed the queen can order any suit, and the move goes to the next player.
Jack — 2 points.
The lady gets 3 points.
The king has 4 points.
Ace — 11 points.
Nine — 0 points.
The rest of the cards are appreciated.
The round ends when one of the participants discards all his cards. The other player calculates the total points from the remaining cards in his hands. The loser is the player who scores more than 101 points in total after several rounds. For those who score exactly 101 points, the score becomes zero. He gets an advantage in this way.
