This application, designed by the Ministry of Education (MEC) and which is part of the Schools around the World Program, aims to facilitate visibility and access to Brazilian school communities, institutions, projects from similar institutions in foreign countries, and vice versa, promoting the visibility of school projects to international peers. In addition to being a tool to spread the concepts of internationalization of Basic Education, it offers a set of possibilities for sharing and collaboration between partners of the Schools around the World Program.
The application aims to represent a milestone in the promotion of exchanges of
experience between Brazilian schools and schools from other countries. From
its launch, many innovation points need to be incorporated
to enhance the app users' experience, such as:
● New ways to provide richer communications based on user profile;
● Learning environments for exchanging information/experiences between principals and the school community;
● Visualizations that facilitate the interpretation of graphs;
● Facilities to find school of interest;
● Restricted information repertoire, not contemplating the complexity of school management or the infrastructure, learning spaces and pedagogical resources available at the school;
● Optimize performance and eliminate bottlenecks.
