This App, as such, covers basic and applied aspects of general physicochemistry, trying to guide the student in those topics that present greater difficulties in understanding the concepts taught as part of a basic and introductory physicochemistry course. In this regard, this App does not cover the chapters on molecular structure, spectroscopy, statistical thermodynamics and surface physicochemistry.
Therefore, the content is based on three central aspects: the macroscopic description of the phenomena, the establishment of correlations between the observed phenomena as well as the formulation of hypotheses, models and theories to explain the experimental facts. It seeks to show the limitations implicit in the models, in order to establish a dynamic between what is observed and what is intended to be described in terms of them.
In the development of the topics, the exercise and the resolution of problems is explicitly included in the text, emphasizing the aspects in which the student systematically presents greater difficulties in understanding the central ideas.
