Your BAHN-BKK electronic patient file (ePA).
People with statutory health insurance have been able to use the electronic patient file (ePA) since January 2021 - it is free of charge and use is voluntary. Information on health can be collected digitally in the file.
This allows the doctors, clinics and your dentist you have selected to find out more quickly about your state of health and your previous treatments. This avoids unwanted double examinations and helps to better coordinate health measures such as medication or applications.
In the future, the vaccination card, the tooth bonus booklet, the mother's pass and the yellow U booklet for children will also be available in the ePA. You can even store pain diaries or the movement and sleep values from fitness trackers there later in digital form - if you want to. Because you alone determine which information is included in the electronic patient file

Security
• As a statutory health insurance company, we ensure the best possible protection of your health data. To ensure that only you or persons authorized by you have access to your ePA, we will identify you securely once. You can use your NFC-enabled electronic health card (eGK) including the associated PIN. Alternatively, you need an activation code for the ePA, which you will receive personally at our ServicePoints after proof of identity.
