Developed in the 1960's, goal attainment scaling provides a method to objectively measure individual skills and behaviors when standardized testing may not be fully informative. Goal attainment scaling can evaluate the effectiveness of an individual goal, a group of goals, and overall program effectiveness. GOALed was created in an effort to provide an efficient, user-friendly interface to write, calculate, and interpret goal attainment results.
