Emerit Connect

Emerit Connect is a security application dedicated to the supervision of Emerit Bluetooth alarm devices which equip professionals exposed to risky situations such as isolation, accidents, discomfort, attacks. It allows the user to secure their work period as soon as they have associated their Bluetooth alert device with the Emerit Connect application.

From the Bluetooth alert device and depending on the configuration that has been previously defined by the administrator in charge of setting up the solution, the user can trigger an alarm manually by pressing a dedicated SOS button. The Bluetooth alert device can also trigger an alarm automatically if the user remains motionless for several seconds, following loss of consciousness for example.

Once the alarm is triggered, it is immediately received and processed via the Bluetooth connection by the application which will:
1. Notify the user that the alarm has been taken into account.
2. Request a location from the smartphone if the location is necessary for the use case and has been previously configured by the administrator in charge of implementing the solution.
3. Transmit the alarm: either via IP to a dedicated server, or by automatic call and sending SMS messages to recipients, according to the configuration pre-established by the administrator in charge of setting up the solution.

For security, the application continues to monitor the Bluetooth alert device even when the user is not using their smartphone and as long as monitoring is not deactivated. It is in fact the user who manages his monitoring periods from the main button of the application.
