HOW DOES IT WORK?

The XEDAQ app acts as your support mechanism for TMJ issues throughout your day to day life. It includes a number of features that can help you navigate the ups and downs of living with chronic jaw pain and dysfunction including:

- Short videos, audio files and articles that you can access for information
- Simple questionnaires for scoring your symptoms on a day to day basis
- Validate questionnaires to assessing your pain, jaw issues and associated mood
- An ability to store this information to guide consultations
- Information to put you in the driving seat when speaking to healthcare professionals about your TMJ issue
- Expert listings for specialists near you

HOW DO I START?

At the outset you list your symptoms and content will be streamlined according to your needs and issues, recommended for you.

You can track your symptoms on a daily basis, access content and look for help nearby.

WHAT IS THE CONTENT?

You can access just 5-10 minutes each day, introducing you to a range of information about TMJ issues with contributions from:

- Harriette Haig, a Physiotherapist and member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Temporomandibular Disorders (ACPTMD) with an interest in TMD
- Dr Richard Bennett, a Psychologist and proponent of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
- Mr Ross Elledge, a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and founder of the XEDAQ app with a subspecialty practice in TMJ surgery
