Traces Québec · Description
Traces Québec is a mobile application intended for all stakeholders covered by the Regulation respecting the traceability of excavated contaminated soils, such as owners of contaminated soils, transporters and managers of receiving sites. This new regulation, in force since November 1, 2021, reinforces the actions of the Ministry of the Environment and the Fight against Climate Change (MELCC) to protect soil and groundwater and ensure the rehabilitation of land. contaminated. The MELCC has entrusted the development and management of the Traces Québec government system to the Attestra organization, formerly known as Agri-Traçabilité Québec.
The mobile application developed by Attestra makes it possible to follow soils from the original site to the final receiving site. Each transport of soils is linked to an electronic slip in which one finds all the relevant information on the contaminated soils and the parties involved in the movement of these soils. On arrival at the receiving location, the soils are weighed and the receiving location completes the tracking slip. When all the soils of a project have been excavated, the attestation that all of the excavated soils have indeed been the subject of a tracking slip is made in the Traces Québec application. At all times, when using the mobile application, the data is synchronized with the Traces Québec web service.
