Reflection Period · Açıklama
This app comprises a set of questions intended to be crossed with a recent period in your life (day, week, month, quarter, year, other...), in order to help you easily generate reflection and discover new options.
The purpose of the questions is to smooth out the benefiting, but sometimes confusing and cumbersome, practice of reflecting upon past actions.
Very often, after finishing a period we've been immersed in our lives, we end up too tired or simply feel to close to it to evaluate it with the necessary clarity to extract all its lessons, or simply to get a clear overview of "what just happened". Additionally, there is a certain tendency to forget our own achievements too quickly, as we often are already engaged and aiming for the next big thing.
These questions will light positive mental associations, help you celebrate a bit more your victories, and gain distance with what you just experienced, increasing your planning capabilities to decide what to tackle next.
Using these questions regularly is a good way of creating a "ritual", a habit that can turn into a "virtuous circle".
The questions are divided in two sections ("Looking back" and "Moving forward"). They focus on diverse life areas (achievements, learned skills, relationships, gratitude...). The questions can be applied to a wide range of situations, and their language is simple, conversation-like, the kind of questions you would interchange in a conversation with a friend or partner.
Going through all the series takes 10-15', although of course you can always go deeper whenever you feel you've found an area where you can tap more benefit. Choose which period you're going to review before starting (day, month, quarter, etc...), and ideally answer the questions aloud. This exercise will invariably bring you focus and new insights that you can apply immediately.
