PAVIRE

The general objective of the PAVIRE project is the development of a Computing Communication Platform (ICT) for the management of safer roads and more efficient drivers (detection of cracks, disintegrations, deformations, potholes in the pavement, types of driving, consumption calculations and CO2 emissions) from the use of accelerometers and embedded GPS systems in mobile phones, for the early detection of surface flaws in the pavement and reduction of fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of a vehicle.
