MedCal

MedCal helps nurses and students by doing quick, accurate and safe drug calculations.

The calculatur has bee developed in collaboration with the Department of Paediatrics at Odense University Hospital who has avoided dosage errors completely after their nurses started using MedCal.

Nursing academies can also reap great benefits from using MedCal to teach students about the often complicated equations involved in drug calculation.

In cooporation with University College Lillebaelt we have added a learning module to MedCal which makes it possible for students to fil out assignments.

- Students can follow a course with a set progression of assignmentsor they can complete single assignments.
- Students can immediately see if they answered the assignment correctly.
- If students gives a wrong answer the part of the assignment they failed to answer correctly is highlighted.
