Locate a Locum is an app-based platform connecting locum pharmacy and optometry workers with employers across the UK. Our platform is trusted by over 33,000 locum healthcare workers and over 12,000 healthcare organisations.
How does Locate a Locum work?
Employers advertise their available shifts on the platform and locum workers can view and apply for these through the app. Find flexible work opportunities for your preferred rates, dates and locations all through the click of a button!
What do I need to get started using Locate a Locum?
Before you can start applying for shifts with us you need to upload all the essential documents and accreditations required from pharmacy and optometry workers. These include photographic ID, indemnity insurance cover, GPhC and GOC numbers plus relevant accreditations to enhance your profile.
Why should I use Locate a Locum to find shifts?
When you sign up with us you are immediately added to our Level Up rewards programme where you can access multiple promotions and discounts. For example, when you work 10 shifts with us we’ll reimburse you for your regional police check. Plus, when you complete 20 shifts, you’ll receive access to the Collective Benefits platform with discounts on fuel, groceries to tech!
