Geoportal.lt

Geoportal.lt is a state information system that provides the opportunity to obtain state geographic data for free online. The most visited place on geoportal.lt is the map browser, the mobile version of which you can use for free from now on by downloading this app for the Android operating system.
The mobile app will facilitate the viewing of geoportal.lt data when working in field conditions, will provide an opportunity to collect spatial data in real time and in a real place, will be useful when planning routes and traveling.
The app uses the latest geoportal.lt maps (vector and orthophotographic) as the basis of the map.

With the geoportal.lt mobile application you can:
- Choose different background maps;
- Use the data review services provided by geoportal.lt (public and individually ordered on the geoportal.lt website);
- Manage layers of uploaded viewing services: change transparency, territorial coverage, view legend, identify individual elements;
- Find your location on the map;
- Import SHP files;
- Export and import your objects in CSV format;
- Search for a place based on entered place names;
- Search for routes from point A to point B, get information about the distance and duration of the route, drive following the planned route;
- Mark and save important places for you on the map (e.g. planned places to visit);
- Perform length and area measurements;
- Share the map with your marked location with friends or colleagues;
- Report a bug or suggest an improvement.

The mobile application requires an internet connection.
