GBOT is an experimental plot data survey application.
With GBOT your technical team can digitize the phenotypic data of the plots at the time of the determination in the experimental field, facilitating the monitoring and control of the tests and the information generated from them.
GBOT makes it possible to verify from which experimental site and from which plot each data came, which technician carried out the task, record the dates of the activities, unify the phenotyping criteria and accompany the determinations with images.
This application is a complement to the GBOT web platform.
The GBOT system in 4 steps:
CREATE CAMPAIGN AND TOURS
The first thing is to create a work campaign on the GBOT web platform indicating; trial, site, cultivation, sowing date, number of plots and material sown in each plot
After having created the campaign, the user is able to create the tours with the traits to be collected in each visit to the trial, being able to assign technicians to the different experimental sites.
DATA RELEASE
During the campaign, it is time to collect data. With the GBOT application, each user has access to the assigned test by downloading it from their smartphone. The field technician can choose different modalities of the test run, upload his determinations and attach images to enrich the work carried out.
PROCESS CONTROL
During the course of the campaign, the person in charge of the area can closely follow the phenotyping work, monitor its progress and detect errors reported by the field technicians, from the web platform.
EXPLORE DATA AND EXPORT IT
Finally, taking advantage of analysis tools on the web platform, the user can explore the collected data and in turn export them to continue working with other data analysis programs.
