educa is a digital construction kit with all the necessary tools for administration and learning in the education sector.
FUNCTIONS:
Accessibility
Together with a customer, we are in the process of making our platform barrier-free according to the guidelines WCAG21 and Section508, including audio. If you have special needs in this regard, we look forward to a cooperation to continuously expand the accessibility of our platform.
data protection
Both educa and the external applications that we integrate are GDPR-compliant. The platform runs on German servers and all data is stored in encrypted form.
groups
Groups are used to structure your respective organization in learning groups. A school class or study group can exchange content in a closed area and use other tools for different purposes. Lecturers can manage these groups, configure required functions and much more.
Newsfeed
Create global or group / user-specific announcements. Each role sees the messages relevant to them and can react to them. You can also use the newsfeed for voting.
Events
Whether class hour, tutoring or afternoon program - appointments provide a basis for (digital) meetings and the date-specific exchange of information: minutes and files can be linked. External participants can be invited easily and securely. Interfaces to the Outlook calendar are already integrated, we are happy to add more (webcal support).
Videoconferencing
With BigBlueButton you can start a video conference from different areas of the platform - an appointment, a group, the feed or the chat. For example, for teaching, for organization-wide digital announcements, for self-organized learning groups.
As an open source application, BigBlueButton can be supplemented at any time with additional functions such as the automatic muting of all participants when an announcement is made. Depending on the type of conference, you'll see the tools you need.
(Paperless) tasks
(Homework) tasks can be created and edited completely paperless. For this purpose, teachers create digital worksheets, optionally configure the correct answers, define deadlines and assign tasks to entire groups or individual users.
Learners work on the tasks directly in the platform. The content can be checked automatically and the results can be displayed directly to the learner. Teachers can see the processing status, provide assistance and leave reviews.
Results and grades are linked to the learner's administrative file.
Push notifications
Is there a change in the substitution plan? Our intelligent software automatically recognizes which users the message needs to be sent to and notifies them directly via push notification. You can also set your own mailing list for each message and, for example, inform the whole school with just one click.
