The CRISTOVISIÓN Foundation was created in Colombia in 2003, as a non-profit organization dedicated to the creation, realization and production of communicative products with an evangelizing emphasis, promoting social welfare and strengthening the spirituality of believers.
Father Ramón Zambrano Echeverri, manager of the initiative, had the initial purpose of giving continuity to the Holy Mass that was being transmitted every Sunday at 7:30 in the morning, on one of the national television channels. From that moment and thanks to the support shown by the viewers, the work CRISTOVISIÓN began to open field in the middle, not only with projects of a communicative nature, but also of a social nature. In essence, what it intends is to serve the community through the teaching of the word of God.
The Cristovisión Canal is operating in the center of Fontibón and is ready to serve the family, the city and the Church. With the channel, the evangelizing mission of the Church is enhanced and the purpose of creating more friendly and attractive spaces “to see the world through the eyes of Jesus” is achieved. Our struggle is to favor the defense of life and the promotion of human rights and fundamental values: it is the purpose of those who have committed ourselves to the evangelizing task from the media. Also, the viewers are offered to Cristovidentes to acquire and reinforce attitudes that allow them to actively participate in the construction of a more supportive, responsible, tolerant and peaceful society.
