-A prior appointment for the vehicle technical inspection (ITV) can be requested by calling 902 43 21 43, Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. .

-The prices of the ITV 2023 vary depending on the Autonomous Community and the province in which the inspection is carried out. In general, the price of the ITV for private cars ranges between 40 and 50 euros.

-The frequency to pass the ITV depends on the type of vehicle. For passenger vehicles and vans, the periodicity is four years, while for heavy vehicles, the periodicity is two years.

-In 2021 there are several grants available to buy new cars. The PIVE Plan allows individuals to buy a new car with a discount of up to 6,000 euros. Assistance is also available for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids.

-The provisional driving license is a driving license valid for one year, which can be obtained after passing the theoretical driving license exam.
