Teacher Bank

The Teacher Bank Project app is a Civic Tech Innovation designed to bridge the gap between qualified teachers and schools in underserved communities. This initiative of the Restored Heart Foundation aims to bring quality education to students in areas where there is a lack of teachers or the resources to hire them.

Teachers, volunteers, and schools can register on the app to connect, share resources, and collaborate. Teachers can create detailed profiles including their subjects, preferred languages, CVs, and introduction letters, while schools can view these profiles to find the right match for their needs, schools can also do the same and connect with teachers for their schools. Volunteers can also register to teach specific skills to students, providing valuable knowledge and support where it's most needed.

Our app fosters communication between teachers and schools, allowing them to send messages and discuss teaching opportunities directly within the platform. Additionally, through our partnership with educational organizations, teachers can continuously improve their skills with training resources, ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver effective education.
