Sport Anxiety Scale (SAS) · Description
The Sport Anxiety Scale is a questionnaire that assesses the competitive trait anxiety experienced by athletes before or during competition.
How to conduct the test
Read each statement in anxiety test menu, decide if you "Not At All", "Somewhat", "Moderately So", "Very Much So" feel this way when competing in your sport, and tick the appropriate box to indicate your response.
The athlete answers the 21 questions, with no time limit for completion. The scale uses a four-point Likert scale for the responses, ranging from one (not at all) to four (very much). The scale measures responses for three factors: somatic anxiety, worry and concentration disruption.
Assessment
Select the "Analyse" button to obtain a SAS score.
