Saskatoon Transit OnDemand · Description
Welcome to Saskatoon Transit OnDemand. We’re your convenient connection to regular fixed route transit service.
Saskatoon Transit OnDemand is available Monday to Friday to connect areas of the city that either don’t have regular transit service or areas with low frequency to Saskatoon Transit’s network. This service is operated by Saskatoon Transit in partnership with Spare Labs.
What does on-demand mean?
It means you can book a ride for in as little as 15 minutes or schedule a trip up to two weeks in advance.
How does Saskatoon Transit OnDemand work?
You can book a ride on an accessible bus by using this app on a smartphone, visiting the website SaskatoonTransit.ca/OnDemand or by calling 306.975.3100.
Get started
Start by downloading the Saskatoon Transit OnDemand app, then create an account using your name, phone number and email address. Confirm your location and input your destination to see the ride options. Then, book your ride and track it in real-time. If you’re calling in, provide the same information to the representative who will give you step-by-step instructions.
Who is driving the buses?
Professionally trained drivers from Saskatoon Transit will operate the OnDemand buses.
Wait times
It depends on your trip and the time of day – but wait times will be less than 30 minutes in peak times and 60 minutes in off peak times. An accurate estimate of your wait time will be provided before you book your trip. You will be able to track the vehicle location in real-time using the Saskatoon Transit OnDemand app.
Accessibility information
When setting up your profile you can add mobility device information ex: wheelchair or include that information in the Saskatoon Transit OnDemand booking or mention it to the customer service representative if booking by phone. That way, we can ensure a spot is available for you.
Why offer OnDemand service?
To provide connection to the regular Saskatoon Transit network from areas where flexible OnDemand service is a better fit or where fixed route is not yet feasible.
