S-Patch Ex · Description
The S-Patch Ex is an app that collects ECG data from the external S-Patch device, for patients with suspected cardiac symptoms such as: abnormal heartbeat, lightheadedness, dizziness, chest pain, sweating, pre-syncope, syncope, fatigue, or anxiety.
Key features of the S-Patch Ex App:
- Display incoming ECG signal received from S-Patch device
- Calculate and display HR
- Manage Diary (log symptoms and activities)
- Start, Pause and End the ECG recording
- Send completed ECG recording for further analysis
- Alert on device disconnects
Important:
* Background location access is needed to search and connect to the Bluetooth device (S-Patch) even when the app is closed or not in use. As the app needs to receive continuous data stream from the device, this background location access is essential to the core functionality of the app. Please note that location information will not be stored.
* The ECG recordings are to be submitted to your healthcare provider. Please consult your doctor for further diagnosis and treatment before making any medical decisions.
