Risco · Description
RISCO is an application intended to improve the safety of third parties during a tree felling operation near a high-voltage line.
It is a decision-making tool on the choice of technique for felling or guiding the tree.
Thanks to a few precise measurements, you simulate the fall of a tree towards the power line, you know the engagement distances of the DGT 13 (or contact with the power cable), and you adapt your operating mode.
The use is simple, interactive and works offline.
Each measure requested has an explanatory visual.
2-input mode: height of the tree and oblique distance between the base of the tree and the cable
4-input mode: cable height, tree height, horizontal distance between the base of the tree and the cable, and height difference.
4 electrical voltage levels: 63/90kV, 150kV, 225kV, 400kV
Results: 3 levels of risk:
- Zero risk (green color): DGT 13 is not engaged: the tree can be felled in full without guidance or dismantling solution.
- Proven risk (orange color): DGT 13 (minimum) is engaged: felling is prohibited without a guiding solution, but dismantling in two parts is authorized by scrupulously respecting the height range indicated to cut the first part of the tree.
- High risk (red colour): DGT 13 (minimum) is engaged: felling is prohibited without a guidance solution; dismantling in two parts is impossible and therefore prohibited.
A legend recalls the regulatory distances of DGT 13, the values entered and calculated and, where applicable, the dismantling instructions.
