Radio Clube Pontagrossense
Rádio Clube Pontagrossense was authorized to operate by Ordinance 454 of September 15, 1939, but the official inauguration took place on January 21, 1940, next to the studio and transmitter, installed at Avenida Ernesto Vilela, 96 (photo), under the prefix of PRJ-2, Rádio Clube Pontagrossense, 1,250 Kilocycles, Medium Waves of 240 meters and power of 250 Watts. As a result of the pioneering spirit of businessmen Abílio Holzman and Manoel Machuca, Clube was the birthplace of other radio stations spread across Paraná and Santa Catarina, called the Capital of the Paraná Network of Broadcasters, namely: Rádio Difusora de Paranaguá; Rádio União, from União da Vitória; Rádio Rio Negro PR; Rádio Irati, Rádio Difusora do Paraná, Londrina; Rádio Cultura do Paraná, Curitiba; Radio Legendária da Lapa; Rádio Canoinhas SC and Rádio Central do Paraná, from Ponta Grossa. Over time, the network was dismantled, leaving only Rádio Clube Pontagrossense, today the oldest active radio station in Paraná, located at Rua XV de Novembro, 344, in the center of Ponta Grossa. The past, the struggle of those who wielded our microphones are preserved in our memory, as they were part of a rich history in the field of communications. On August 10, 2017, Clube began operating on FM on the 94.1MHz frequency. With migration, radio began to have greater reach in the region, and also better sound quality. Its team of professionals is the most experienced on local radio, all of whom are already accustomed to the habits of the princes who tune in to the station. JOIN US!
