Radarska Slika Padavin Widget · Description
The application was primarily developed to display the animation of the precipitation radar image in the form of a widget. Also added is a simple regular app where you can control the animation speed.
Adding a widget to the home screen varies depending on the phone model or version of the Android operating system. Regardless, the process is usually as follows:
(1) long press the home screen;
(2) choosing to add widgets;
(3) the Precipitation Radar Image widget is transferred from the list to the home screen;
(4) entering initial widget settings.
The regular app contains ads in the bottom menu bar. Ads can be removed with an in-app purchase.
The source of the animation of the precipitation radar image is the Environment Agency of the Republic of Slovenia (ARSO):
http://meteo.arso.gov.si/met/sl/weather/observ/radar/
The Slovenian National Meteorological Service measures precipitation over Slovenia and its immediate surroundings with two weather radars at Lisca and Pasja level. The composite radar image shows the distribution and intensity of precipitation measured every 5 minutes. The measurement time is given in Universal Coordinated Time UTC; the corresponding official time in Slovenia is one hour (in winter) or two hours (in summer) longer.
