Nutuk (Atatürk)
Speech of the Ottoman Empire, which was published in 1927 by Atatürk in 1927, describes the War of Independence, the proclamation of the Republic and the events of the revolution that took place between 1919-1927. The first edition was published by the Turkish Tayyare Society, published in 3 volumes in 1934, single volume in 1938 and 3 volumes in 1950. TDK was published in 1963-64 with the name Siska, simplifying the language. In 1973-75, the Ministry of Culture issued two simplified volumes. Many abstracts appeared in English, French, German and translated into Russian.
This work, which was published by Atatürk's own pen, was taken by the Atatürk for his speech, because it was based on a historical account which lasted for 36.5 hours and was read in six days. . At the end of the work is an address to the youth.
