Werkforce

Werkforce is the communication platform for employees, union members, works councils, shop stewards and company supervisors.

Central functions focus on trusting internal communication. This is made possible through chats and group chats, interactive exchange in topic or group-specific rooms, as well as direct contact with your trade union contacts. Cross-company networking within branches, corporations and with officials of all Werkforce companies is supported in the chat. The profiles verified by the union's databases enable trustworthy and secure communication.


Werkforce features at a glance:

- Chat & group chat: You can use the chat functions to share text messages, emojis, images and documents with all Werkforce users in your company.

- Group chats can be put together individually. Here you can communicate confidentially with the selected colleagues.

- Quick contact with employees in your company: The contact list automatically shows you all current Werkforce users in your company. The works councils and shop stewards as well as the company supervisors are highlighted by displayed badges. Werkforce verifies the function of the contact persons directly via the union's databases.

- Inter-company chat: In individual and group chats you can create a trade union social network within your branch or your group and exchange ideas with officials from all Werkforce companies.

- Rooms: Theme or group-specific business rooms invite you to exchange ideas and enable you to share information, images, links and documents or to create, support and comment on contributions.

- Knowledge management: Theme rooms, hashtags and bookmarks allow you to find information quickly and mark relevant posts for you.

- Push notifications: So that you are always up to date, new chat messages and posts in your rooms will be displayed to you via push notifications.

- Security & data protection: Your personal data and all messages, images and files are securely managed in an encrypted form on servers in Germany. In addition, transparency about the handling of your data is extremely important to us. You can see more about this at any time in your Werkforce profile in the app.

- Registration: Register with your union (IG Metall) self-service access or create a user account directly in Werkforce.
