Grid App for Artists · Beschrijving
This app has been developed to assist artists in using the grid method for making outlines of their artwork. The grid method involves drawing a grid over your reference photo and then drawing a grid of the same measurement on your work surface (paper, canvas, wood panel, etc).
With the help of this app, you can directly select your canvas size and apply grids of the desired dimension ( say - 5×5 cm) to your reference image. Then you can take a ruler and make lines of the same dimension on your canvas starting from the top left corner.
In addition to this main function, there are a lot of complementary features to save your time and make the process easier
•Flip/Rotate: You can flip or rotate your reference image according to your preference.
•Border: A lot of time we use artist's tape around our canvas. Using this feature you can visualize the space taken by the tape and make grids accordingly
•Edit image: Using various image editing options like brightness, contrast, hue, and saturation you can tune your reference image.
•Filter: Black&white and invert filter for graphite/charcoal or Invert artists :)
•Customize Gridlines: With various options like size, color, and opacity, you can create grid lines that suit your art-making process.
•Diagonal: You can add diagonal lines to the boxes for more reference points and improve accuracy.
•Label: Add numberings on the grid boxes to easily locate any box.
•Real Size: By using this option your reference image will get zoomed-in in such a way that the boxes will be of the same size as on the paper ( ex- if your grid line is 5cm then it will be 5cm on display as well). It is a very useful feature as now you don't need to zoom in/out image every time to match it with the paper.
•Image Lock: This will lock the visible portion of the image and the image won't move even when you swipe on display.
•full screen- the app will go on full-screen mode and the menu will hide so that you can draw without any hindrance.
•Save/share: Save the image in your gallery or share it with other apps.
•Draft: 4 recently edited projects will be saved as a draft and appear on the home screen so that you can continue drawing from where you left :)
