Glyc® is a mobile application designed by Vital Care Production Distribution et Logistique SPA for patients living with diabetes, enabling them to monitor their blood glucose profile on a daily basis, thanks to instantaneous transfer of their measurements. It also serves as an electronic logbook and a direct communication channel with the attending physician. Through the Glyc® mobile application, users can:
- Record a blood glucose measurement taken with the VitalCheck® MM1200 BT Glyconnect connected blood glucose meter (please refer to the VitalCheck® MM1200 BT Glyconnect user manual);
- View a "Dashboard" displaying the last measurement, the 90-day average, the estimated HbA1c, a summary of measurements taken (number of measurements, highest/lowest measurement, measurements on target, hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia) and the next scheduled appointment;
- View "Glycemic Excursions" in the form of a graph with dots representing the various blood glucose measurements;
- View the "Logbook", which provides an overview of all blood glucose measurements taken over a 90-day period;
- Access the "Recommendations" tab to consult the recommendations that the physician will be able to send from his or her interface;
- Send a photo of diabetic foot lesions to be viewed, noted and commented on by the attending physician;
- Receive notifications from the attending physician or the editor (in the event of application updates);
- Modify user account settings (profile, password, language).
