Glucose readings every minute
The FreeStyle Libre Link app is approved for use with the FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors. You can check your glucose by scanning the sensor with your phone. FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor users can now get automatic glucose readings in the FreeStyle LibreLink app, updated every minute, and receive alerts when their glucose level is low or high.[1]
You can use the FreeStyle LibreLink app to:
* View your current glucose reading, glucose trend arrow, and data of previous glucose readings
*Receive high or low glucose alerts using FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors
* See reports such as time in range and daily patterns
* Share your data with your doctor and family with your permission
Compatibility with smartphone

Use your own app and reader with the same sensor
Alarms can only be triggered on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or your phone (not both). To receive alarms on your phone, you must start the sensor using the app. To receive alarms on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader, you must start the sensor using your reader. Once you start the sensor with the reader, you can also use your phone to scan the sensor.
Remember that the app and the reader do not share data. To get complete information on any device, scan your sensor every 8 hours with that device; Otherwise, your reports will not include all the data. You can upload and view data on all your devices through LibreView.com.
