The basis of the learning process is the repetition of words with the demonstration of correct and incorrect translations.

To learn English and to understand and speak English, you need to know the most common English words.
We offer you 7000 most important frequent English words with translation, transcription and American pronunciation.
1000 of the most common English words are enough to understand 75% of spoken language and support simple conversation (A1-A2).
3000 words allow you to understand 85%-90% of oral speech and read texts (B1).
5000 words allow you to understand 90%-95% of what is said and written (B2).
7000 words allow you to understand 90%-99% of what is said and written (C1).

The application contains 3 lists of words:
Oxford 3000
Oxford 5000,
+2000 (Wikipedia:Word frequency)

All words have transcription, translation, audio pronunciation, examples of use.

Translations are taken from Google Translate frequency dictionaries.
The words are divided by level of English (CEFR: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2) and grouped into blocks of 100 words.

English words translated into the following languages:
German, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Turkish, Ukrainian, Russian, Arabic, Persian, Thai.

🎓 In order for words to be reliably remembered, they need to be repeated at certain intervals.
There are five groups for this. In the classical system, groups are repeated on different days:
G1 - New words are learned every day.
G2 - Recently learned words are repeated every other day (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
G3 - Well-learned words are repeated twice a week (Tuesday, Thursday).
G4 - Very well learned words are repeated once a week (Sunday).
G5 - Fully learned words are no longer repeated.

The user can independently repeat words on selected days (Press the "G groups" button and activate the desired group).
All unstudied words are in group G1. If you remember the word, it goes to the next group. If you don't remember word, the word returns to group G1.

⏱️ Activated groups of words are automatically repeated at different frequencies in each lesson:
G1-70%, G2-18%, G3-9%, G4-3%, G5-0%

Out of 100 words, 70 words will be from group G1, 18 words from group G2, 9 words from group G3, 3 words from group G4.
Automatic repetition of groups with different frequencies is an approximate analogue of the classical system of repetition on different days of the week.
In the settings you can change the repetition frequency and other parameters.

📽️ Words show with translation options.
✔️ When choosing the correct translation, the word receives one point. When a word reaches 7 points, it will move to group G2.
Every 7 additional points moves the word to the next group. The user can independently move the word to the selected group.
❌ If you select an incorrect translation, the word will return to the first group G1.
🔄 Words from group G1 are repeated in a cycle of 7 words until they move to group G2. The cycle is replenished with new words.
