Chile Alert · Beschrijving
In a simple way it shows the last earthquakes, tsunami bulletins and meteorological bulletins in Chile. Each event has the details of magnitude, date of occurrence of the event and time.
It also presents information about the intensity of the earthquake indicating if the earthquake can cause a tsunami, all this information is included in a map view to know the exact location of the event.
You can see seismic reports of national and international tremors in a simple way. These reports also include an image with a seismogram (record of the earthquake with a real instrument), only if it is available.
Also included is a tab with a list of seismic stations with instruments to record these events (seismographs) of Chile to visualize the seismic records and the seismic activity of the area. Useful for monitoring.
Chile Alert is able to report seismic events in real time, and after a few minutes it delivers the tremor report with a seismogram and map.
Issues notifications before a seismic event or tsunami warning that may affect (or not) in any way to Chile.
This app has 5 different types of alarms:
Message / Notice / New report or common notification. (Alarm No. 1).
Seismic alert: of a tremor detected in real time and sensitive. (Alarm No. 2).
Tsunami warning: when an earthquake occurs in other countries with Pacific coast, it is informed in a preventive manner in case of possible danger and then confirmed with SHOA data. (Alarm No. 3).
Seismic Alarm: Similar to Alarm No. 2 but this is activated by a large earthquake that can affect multiple regions of Chile. An order is sent to the App to open a popup window with a sound that can only be turned off if that window is closed (it is useful to get attention or wake up a person while they are sleeping). (Alarm No. 4).
Tsunami Alarm: similar to Alarm No. 3 and No. 4. A pop-up window indicating an impending tsunami opens. and it can only be turned off by closing the pop-up window. (Alarm No. 5).

.-Green indicator (State 1 Warning): low intensity earthquakes, tsunami warnings that do not meet the characteristics to generate a tsunami in the Chilean coasts (?).
.-Orange color indicator (State 2 Alert): medium intensity earthquakes that can generate damage or tsunami warnings, if there is a tsunami warning in evaluation it will also be of this color.
.-Red indicator (State 3 Alarm): earthquakes of high intensity (earthquakes), tsunami alerts that meet the characteristics to generate a tsunami in the Chilean coasts (?).
Map display as normal or satellite view.
* according to a Chilean:
Tremor: Sensible earthquake of low / medium intensity.
Earthquake: Sensitive earthquake of great intensity that causes damage (can it be greater than or equal to 6.5 °?).
