Use this app to help learn the basics of chess and create a deeper understanding of one of the oldest games there are.

Play chess online with your friends in a peer-to-peer game, or over matchmaking! Test your skills against the clock or against the computer. Or just enjoy the daily challenges that are now available with version 2.2.0 and up.
Chess with Friends also offers a few exclusive game types including GenChess (currently in Beta). We hope to continue to add new game types and features that help make chess fun and grow the Chess with Friends community.
