CETRAS

CETRAS is the successor to the Drive Record app released in 2018. Based on the requests from users, we created an app from scratch and reborn as a more easy-to-use drive recorder app.

CETRAS is a free drive recorder application developed under the concept of Citizen Entry Type Record Application System.
This is a system for citizens to use the drive recorder video that citizens take while moving in their daily lives, such as picking up children and shopping, for crime prevention and disaster prevention.
It is not possible to predict in advance when and where incidents, accidents, and disasters will occur, and it is not realistic to watch over all of these events with fixed surveillance cameras.
The concept of CETRAS is to realize low-cost and efficient solutions for society as a whole by working together with citizens by utilizing images of vehicles that happen to pass by.

■ What are the incentives for posting videos?
Compensation will be paid for videos posted based on video posting requests.
Currently, we are issuing Amazon coupons, but we plan to implement a wide variety of returns based on user requests in the future.

■ Will location information while driving be sent to the server?
No, don't send. With CETRAS, instead of sending location information to the server and searching on the server side, the smartphone receives a video posting request based on the incident or accident information, and each smartphone accidentally runs nearby and posts it. A search is made to see if the target video is recorded. Therefore, the current location information while using the app will not be sent to the server.



■ How do I post videos?
There are two types of video posting: (1) voluntary video posting and (2) video posting based on a video posting request.

① About voluntary video posting
Images have a certain value, such as when the vehicle in front causes an accident while driving, or when you accidentally encounter a disaster such as a meteorite or tornado. With CETRAS, you can easily put a price on the footage you shoot and sell it. Partner media can receive compensation by purchasing these videos.

② About video posting based on posting request
CETRAS receives information on incidents, accidents, disasters, etc. occurring nearby, and requests the posting of target videos when, for example, one happens to pass by a designated area. For video posting, you can choose between automatic posting settings and manual posting settings.
The Auto Post setting will start posting these videos if found. You can check the posted video list on the user screen.
In the manual posting setting, a pop-up will be displayed when the video is found, asking for the operation of whether to post the video. Video posting starts when the video posting operation is performed.

■ Why are there two types of automatic posting settings and manual posting settings?
CETRAS is a drive recorder application developed in response to the kidnapping incident that occurred in the past. The success or failure of rescuing a victim depends on whether or not related organizations can quickly obtain footage of the scene, such as a kidnapping or disaster.
Automatic posting settings are provided so that video posting requests based on these urgent incidents can be posted quickly without waiting for the user's operation. You can choose your desired settings.
