CertCheck - A lookup and verification utility for Graded Card certificate information - CGC, PSA, SGC, and more grading companies.
Before purchasing your next graded card, it's a good idea to double check it's certificate info. This helps you validate all the details about the card you're about to spend hard-earned money on, and it can also warn you if the cert has become invalidated in the case that it was determined to be fake or altered after the fact.
The CertCheck app makes it easy to find all the certificate details for cards in your collection or cards you're thinking about purchasing, and it works across most major grading companies too.
★ Grading Companies Supported:
CertCheck supports cards that are graded and authenticated by the following grading companies:
- PSA - Professional Sports Authenticator
- CGC - Certified Guaranty Company
- SGC - Sportscard Guaranty Corporation
- AGS - Automated Grading Systems
- DSG - Diamond Service Grading
- MNT - MNT Grading
- PGS - Platin Grading Service

★ Types of Cards Supported:
CertCheck works for all different types and genres of cards of cards. It can pull card details for sports cards like baseball cards, basketball cards, or football cards. It can also retrieve card information for Pokemon TCG cards, Yugioh cards, and MTG cards. As long as CertCheck supports the card's grading company, it's details can likely be found by CertCheck. This works across a variety of collectible card games / trading card games such as the following:
- Pokemon cards
- Yugioh cards
- Magic the Gathering cards
- Football cards
- Baseball cards
- Basketball cards
- Hockey cards
- And more!
★ How to Use:
You can search for graded card certificate details in one of two ways:
1) Camera Scan
Press the camera icon floating near the bottom of the home screen to initiate a camera search. Line up the QR code on the slab you'd like to search with the camera preview and the searching should happen automatically if the brand is recognized.
NOTE: Scanning currently only works for CGC and PSA graded cards. Other supported companies do not offer QR codes on their slabs.
2) Manual certificate number entry
Enter the certificate number of the graded card that you'd like to search, then select the radio button corresponding to the slab's grading company. Click the search button to initiate, and the results should appear within a couple seconds if the card details were found.
★ Disclaimers:
Some PSA cards will directly link out to the certificate page if the app is unable to complete a search.
KSA cards certified before 2012 may not be searchable. According to KSA, these cards have not been entered into their searchable database yet.
All data and information is provided “as is” - CertCheck cannot completely guarantee the accuracy of all data displayed. You should use the link provided for each card search to view the official certificate information as an extra layer of validation.
