Babel

Players choose to be quizzed on languages spoken in a selected country, country the language is spoken in, favorite languages, or the most spoken languages. The game plays one of the languages. Users attempt to guess which language they hear from a list of five language names. In the Countries by Language mode guess the country the language is spoken in. After three incorrect guesses the correct answer is revealed. More points are awarded depending on the speed the player responds. After ten rounds the game finishes. The top ten highest scores are recorded.

Players have a maximum of 30 seconds to make a guess. Each time an incorrect guess is made five seconds is removed from the countdown timer. A point is rewarded for every second remaining on the timer when the correct language is chosen. A maximum of three guesses can be attempted for each question. 9 reward badges to collect.

The game plays audio samples from more than 5,800 recorded language dialects.
