Imam Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Idris al-Shafi'i was born in Gaza in 150 AH, and his mother moved to Mecca at the age of two years. He memorized the Quran at the age of seven years, I am under twenty years old.
Then he emigrated to Medina asking for knowledge when Imam Malik bin Anas, and then traveled to Yemen and worked in it, and then traveled to Baghdad in 184 AH, seeking knowledge at the judge Mohammed bin Hassan al-Shaibani, and took the study of Hanafi doctrine, and thus met him jurisprudence Hijaz ( Maliki doctrine) and jurisprudence of Iraq (Hanafi doctrine).
 Shafei returned to Mecca and took his lessons in Mecca, then traveled to Baghdad for the second time, introduced in 195 AH, and then traveled to Egypt in 199 AH. And in Egypt, and died in the year 204 AH.
