Pingo is an application that was designed to work in conjunction with the parenting device application “Where are my kids”. The app gives parents control over the safety and whereabouts of their child.
To start using Pingo, you first need to download the Where's My Kids app on your phone. After this, you can start installing Pingo on your child's device.
During the installation process, you will be asked to enter a unique code that you received from the Where Are My Kids parent app during registration. Once this is done, both devices will be connected and you can start using the GPS tracker feature right away.
The GPS locator feature allows you to check your baby's location on a map and track his movements throughout the day. This way, you can be sure that your child is not in dangerous places and will always be safe.
Surround Sound lets you listen to what's going on around your baby to make sure everything is okay.
"Loud alarm" is useful if your child left the phone in the backpack or switched it to silent mode and does not hear the ringing. You can send a loud signal to his phone to alert him to check the device.
Pingo's parental control feature lets you see what apps your child was using at school and whether they were playing instead of studying. This feature makes you aware that he is not using inappropriate applications. You can also check if he came to school on time using the notifications feature and receive alerts when he comes home or other places you have created.
Battery management. You can be reminded to charge your phone on time and receive a notification if the battery is low. This ensures that your child's device will always work and can be easily found when you need to contact them.
Family Chat lets you chat and send voice messages. This feature ensures that you can always stay connected with your child, no matter where he is.
The application requests the following permissions:
- to the camera and photo: to set the child’s avatar
- to contacts: to fill in the phone book of the GPS watch
- to microphone: to send voice messages in chat
- accessibility services - so that parents can limit the time their child uses the device and block individual applications
If you encounter technical problems when using Pingo, you can always contact the 24-hour support service of the “Where are my kids” service via the application chat or by email at support@findmykids.org. Our team is always ready to provide you with any assistance.
