NFDP

The National Fisheries Digital Platform (NFDP) is a transformative initiative undertaken by the department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Government of India (GoI). The development of NFDP is envisioned under the ongoing Pradhan Mantri Matsya Kisan Samridhi Sah-Yojana (PM-MKSSY), a sub-scheme of Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampda Yojana (PMMSY).

The creation of NFDP will be a milestone achievement as it will lay the foundation for evidence-based fisheries management through a comprehensive framework for data collection and analysis, to facilitate informed decision-making, need-based policy formulation, partnerships and collaborations.
