Welcome to the application entitled "Museums in Polish Sign Language", which will include guides to Polish museums translated into Polish Sign Language (PJM). All this with deaf, hard of hearing and hearing impaired Poles in mind, in order to ensure their access to Polish culture and heritage, social integration and counteracting social exclusion.
The purpose of the application is to expand museum offers with the availability of information in Polish sign language. As a result, museums will open up to new audiences, such as deaf, hard of hearing and hearing impaired people.
It is worth emphasizing that people with hearing impairments are full citizens of the Republic of Poland, and thus should have equal access to culture as most Poles. The general assumption of the task focuses on the idea of ​​integration in the intergenerational sense.
