CGPI (Choice Based) :

CGPI stands for “cumulative grade percentile index”
There are two formulas to convert CGPI to percentage.
The first formula is for CGPI less than 7
The second formula is for CGPI of more than 7
Percentage=7.1∗CGPI+12.;IFCGPIISLESSTHAN7
Percentage=7.4∗CGPI+12.;IFCGPIISGREATERTHANOREQUALTO7
CGPA is the educational grading system.
It stands for “cumulative grade point average”
It is used in schools and colleges to measure overall academic performance
Students are allotted with grades (A, B, C, D or F)
It is an average of grade points obtained for all semester after the course completion up to given academic term.
