Movi Guide · Description
“Movi Guide”, the audio guide in your mobile, means you can explore a number of institutions with a single application. Put on your headphones, press “play” and enjoy. Apart from the interesting content related to the exhibits, you will learn which way to go and obtain guidance on how to get about in a new space. You don’t have to download a few separate apps – “Movi Guide” provides access to multiple places. You can download and remove the content as you go, without overloading your phone memory.
How does it work?
It’s enough to pick a place from the list of available institutions, then select the language and tour. Depending on the available programme, you can choose the basic route (for general audience), family route (for families with children), audio description (for visitors with visual impairments) or video description with a Polish Sign Language interpreter (for visitors with hearing impairments).
The application menu is available in Polish and English, whereas the audio guide content comes in multiple language versions (depending on the institution). A functional map will help you find the place you are looking for, and by filtering the results you can quickly pick the relevant path.
The application interface was designed so as to make the tour convenient and intuitive. Visitors with visual impairments can additionally amend the accessibility options, such as font size, spacing between the lines and characters, or colour contrast.
Who are we?
We’ve been providing content and technology for museums for more than a dozen years now. We believe that the mobile app, just like traditional audio guides, will be a useful tool for the visitors.
You are kindly invited to join us in “Places beautifully told”.
