After a blackout puts half of New York City in the dark, over a hundred people are reported missing without a trace, and the only one who seems to know anything about it is the CEO of the AI research company Dandelion. A chance encounter with the mogul and her leap of faith allow Isaac and his friends eyes into a world they never imagined could exist through a mysterious update for their phones, but wonder is warped into fear when the students discover the walking Nightmares behind the disappearances.
