Karthika Puranam in Telugu

Karthika masam is very auspicious for Hindus. In this month, we offer prayers to lord Shiva, It is not only offerings to lord Shiva but also lord Vishnu. Karthika masam is a lighting festival that comes after Deepawali. In this month, we lit lamps in temple at evening times. Karthika pournami is very famous in this month. సంపూర్ణ కార్తీక పురాణం

తెలుగు మాసాలలో విశిష్టమైనది కార్తీకమాసం. ముఖ్యంగా కైలాస నిలయుడైన పరమశివునికి ప్రీతిపాత్రం ఇది. ఆధ్యాత్మికపరంగా ఆరోగ్యప్రదమైన మాసం. ఈ మాసంలో సోమవారంనాడు ఉపవాసం చేసి, రాత్రి నక్షత్ర దర్శనం చేసి భోజనం చేస్తారు. తద్వారా అష్టైశ్వర్యప్రాప్తి కలుగుతుందని 'ధర్మసింధువు' గ్రంథం తెలుపుతున్నది. ఈ మాసంలో ప్రతిరోజూ పర్వదినమే! అయినప్పటికీ కొన్ని ముఖ్యమైన పర్వదినాలు మరింత ఫలప్రదమైనవి. అవే భగినీ హస్తభోజనం, నాగులచవితి, నాగపంచమి, ఉత్థాన ఏకాదశి, క్షీరాబ్ధి ద్వాదశి, కార్తీక పౌర్ణమి మొదలైనవి.
