RHVoice · 説明
This App is a text-to-speech engine. It can be used by your book reader, and for the visually impaired this App can be used by any screen-reader or speaking text service.
The following languages are currently available: Albanian, (Northern accent), Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, Czech, American English, Esperanto, Georgian, Kyrgyz, Macedonian, Nepali, Polish, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Tatar, Turkmen, Ukrainian and Uzbek.
We hope to be given voices for Tswana and Southern Vietnamese soon.
After installation, open the App, select your language and download one of the voices. Then go to Android Text-to Speech settings and set RHVoice as your prefered engine.
If your language is not available in our App, please understand how this App and its voices are developed. Read further about who makes voices before you give us a low rating because we do not have your language, or before you give us five stars to ask to add your language .
Our team is a small group of visually impaired developers. We work to provide visually impaired users like ourselves with responsive, good quality speech synthesis. Our priority is to help those users whose languages have no other good text-to-speech systems.
Our App is based on our own open-source RHVoice project available on GitHub.
We publish voices that other groups have built. Our team members have have been involved in some voices, but this App team of ours is not responsible for creating new voices or for improving existing ones.
Most of the voices are free, developed by volunteers or funded by organizations supporting people with disabilities. A few voices require payment. Revenues are shared between the voice developer and the App teams to help cover expenses and further development.
If you want to suggest new languages, please contact us on our support email address and we will let voice developer groups know. But we must warn you that building new languages and a voice takes a long time, and is technically challenging.
