Lowrider wallpapers · 説明
Between 1960 and 1975, customizers created a new vehicle concept, developing GM X-frames, hydraulics, and airbrushing techniques to create the modern lowrider styling.
In the 1990s, low riders became strongly associated with West Coast Hip hop and G-Funk culture. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Game, Warren G, South Central Cartel, Eazy-E, and Above the Law, among others, helped promote this tour by effectively using lowriders in their music videos.
Today, the landing scene differs, with many different participating cultures, vehicle brands, and visual styles. Lowriders can be found all over the country today, but they seem to have spread to other parts of the world lately.
At first, lowriders were only possible to see in places like Los Angeles, especially on Whittier Avenue, when lowriding reached its peak in the 1970s. Whittier consisted of a broad commercial street that cut through the city's barrios in Los Angeles, California. On Saturday nights, young Chicanos rode their lowrider riders down Whittier Avenue.
The Lowrider is a customized concept vehicle with a lowered body. These customized cars can be produced in individual models and sizes, often with intricate, colorful designs rolling on wire-spoke wheels with whitewall tires. Lowrider wheels are generally smaller than original wheels and can be downsized to 13 inches (330 mm). They have also been customized with hydraulic or airbag systems that allow height-adjustable suspension, where the vehicle is raised and lowered at the owner's command. Given these specific features, it is recognized that a car is always a lowered car, while a lowered car is not always a lowrider. This term is used to describe a class of vehicles, not just the ground-to-frame height. The term lowrider, in particular, gives the driver of the car a different pilot name.
The Lowrider car serves no practical use. It is a tour designed for demonstration purposes only. Lowrider automobile culture emerged in Los Angeles, California, in the mid to late 1940s and during the postwar prosperity of the 1950s. Initially, some Mexican-American teenagers lowered the blocks, cut the spring coils, zed the frames, and dropped the spindles. Lowriders' aim is based on the principle of driving as slowly as possible, with their motto "Low and Slow". By redesigning these cars against their intended purpose and painting their cars to reflect and convey Mexican-American culture, lowriders use cultural and political statements that contradict the more common Anglo culture. However, this resulted in a backlash: The enactment of Section 24008 of the California Vehicle Code on January 1, 1958, made it illegal to start any car that has been modified so that any part of it is lower than the base of the wheel rims.
