The Praatapp - intelligible talking is a cheerful, colorful app to playfully improve the intelligibility of children from about two years old.
Many young children have difficulty pronouncing sounds and are therefore less intelligible for their environment. Playing games together where the child can always hear words with a certain sound and practice improves the intelligibility and ensures that the child can make himself clearer. That is why the speech therapists at Driestroom have developed the Praatapp - intelligible talking.
The Praatapp - intelligible talking is an app that allows you to practice in a playful way with learning to pronounce sounds, words and sentences in a more intelligible way. The app contains nine sounds or sound groups. Word cards, listening words and verses are available for every sound. In addition, you can draw and stamp with the images that belong to the different sounds and you can also practice during a game of memory, lotto or with a talking plate.
Note: the Praatapp works best on tablets. When used on a telephone, the images may be too small to play the games properly and problems may occur with scaling the images to the correct format.
