Inspirar APP
Asthma is a chronic disease of the airways, characterized by limitation of expiratory airflow that is associated with respiratory symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness and coughing. As it is a disease that has no cure, its treatment aims to control symptoms in order to improve the quality of life of people with asthma, preventing them from having to make constant visits to the doctor, and also considerably reducing the number of attacks.
Inspire is the result of the research project “Development of a mobile application for clinical control for people with asthma” at HC-FMUSP under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Celso R F Carvalho. The research project was approved by the Ethics Committee for Analysis of Research Projects (CAPPesq) under CAAE 51770721.4.0000.0068.
The application was designed and developed as a multidisciplinary undergraduate project, with the involvement of professors and students from three units at the University of São Paulo:
Department of Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy of the Faculty of Medicine;
Department of Computer Engineering and Digital Systems of the Polytechnic School;
Department of Design of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism.
