Hopilavayi Game

Welcome to the Hopilavayi (Hopi Language) game, created by Mesa Media, a Hopi nonprofit dedicated to revitalizing the Hopi language. Although developed primarily for young Hopi tribal members to promote language revitalization, all are welcome to play. The game is simple and easy to play, resembling a Jeopardy-like matrix with several categories and questions related to each category. Images and audio clips of language examples are included to bring the game to life. In fact, several Hopi youth contributed artwork and audio. We welcome your feedback, so that we can continue to make the app better and stronger. Askwali ("thank you" from a female speaker) and Kwakwha ("thank you" from a male speaker)!
